It was rather beautiful: the way he put her insecurities to sleep. The way he dove into her eyes and starved all the fears and tasted all the dreams she kept coiled beneath her bones.

I’m trying to pay more attention to what feels right, what feels wrong, what moves me to feel anything at all.
I want to be a dancer and art model. I am a dancer and art model. But I don’t have enough capitalist achievement in the former to boast the title. Or the latter, really.
I don’t have the technique.
I don’t have the body.
I don’t have the money.
I do have “it.” Or so I’ve heard.
But I don’t know what to do with it.
Whatever. Despite the thoughts, plans, prayers, poor health habits and timid attempts, I’m still here. Despite hating myself, I’m still doing what I love.
